Appointments

Routine Appointments

  • An appointment is required at all times.
  • An appointment can be made by completing an online form on Patient Access or if you are unable to use Patient Access then by telephone.

Please do not walk into the surgery to book an appointment.

The evening surgery is primarily for people who work during the day and children attending school.

Telephone Appointments or Video Consultations

We can offer patients telephone and video consultations for test results or queries about medication. Please note you will have to be registered to the Patient Access app to have a video consultation.

Emergency Appointments

Emergency appointments are allocated for urgent problems only. If you ask for an urgent appointment you may not have a choice of doctor. You will have to share the reason for wanting to see the doctor as an emergency with the receptionist so that they can allocate an appointment appropriately.

Emergency appointments are five minutes long and you may have to wait some time before you are seen. Please telephone between 9 am and 10 am or complete an Online Form before 11 am to be allocated an emergency appointment for the same day Monday to Friday.

Named GP

All patients at the practice will be allocated to a named GP. However all patients can book an appointment with any GP they wish to see providing they are available.

Choice of Practitioner

Patients may request to be seen by a practitioner of their choice. Where a patient wishes to exercise this right, the patient may have to wait longer to see their preferred practitioner if they are not immediately available. The patient may be asked to accept an alternative if, for example, a service required is delivered by another professional member of the practice or in case of an urgent or emergency situation.

Online Triage

It could help you to see the right person for treatment or could save you a trip to the practice, since we may be able to deal with your health concerns by phone or email.
